I am e-learning specialist at Laidlaw College, enrolled in a PhD with Otago University. Research question: To what extent, if any, are students of theological education at a distance disadvantaged in terms of Christian formation?
We have just completed a distance course in conjunction with Carey College, Vancouver. We are pioneer users of Moodle and of hybrid course development. I have a series of E-Primers (scholarly essays introducing e-learning) available online through the New Zealand Centre for Tertiary Teaching Excellence: http://akoaotearoa.ac.nz/projects/eprimer-series
I regret learning about the current event too late to join in but trust that ongoing dialogue will be fruitful.
