I am a PhD candidate at GETS, in the department of Christian Education and Congregational Life. The focus of my dissertation is on teaching strategies to affect spiritual formation in online learning communities. I am an ordained teaching elder in the PC(USA) and a graduate of both Louisville Presbyterian Seminary (ThM) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MATS). Prior to enrolling at GETS I worked in both higher education and denominational administration. Currently I serve part time as a Parish Associate in my local congregation which means I serve alongside the deacons and assist in the pastoral care of our congregation. My husband, Sheldon, and I live in Pittsburgh with our dog, Cameron.
