Logsdon School of Theology, Hardin-Simmons University
Teach systematic theology and philosophy of religion at Logsdon Seminary of Hardin-Simmons University, since 1998. Before that, taught Christian Philosophy at Southern Baptist Seminary from 1984-1998. I have tried to teach one online course per semester for the last five years, and it has gone very well, better than expected. I followed a pattern I learned from an online ATS webinar! We are trying to put more classes online but so far with little success from the rest of the faculty. I could use help in expanding my repertoire!
My research and writing areas are systematic theology, philosophy of religious language, philosophical and theological hermeneutics, Gadamer and Ricoeur, and theodicy.
