It's always hard to find good, affordable resources for continuing education. One of the most cost-effective is the good old book. (Or the good new ebook--whatever.) But it's easy, or at least easy for me, to let reading a book slide down as priorities crop up.
So I've thought for some time about doing a group read of a book of common interest. With a group and a schedule, perhaps that will encourage actually reading and finishing the book, and the group format would encourage some stimulating cross-institution discussion.
If you are interested, please post here and we'll go from there. My thought was that we would pick a book once we have a group in place. Depending on people's interests, it might be something relating to security, ethics, project management, or whatever we come up with.
